This is a strength-focused Earth practice designed to build steadiness from the ground up.
We begin with intentional wrist and shoulder preparation to safely support weight-bearing work. From there, we move through Bhumi Namaskara (Earth Salutation), establishing stability, rhythm, and connection to the ground before gradually building heat.
The peak posture is Kakasana (Crow Pose) — approached progressively and intelligently. You’ll strengthen and activate through:
Kakasana core crunches
A standing flow exploring balance in Warrior III and one-legged Utkatasana
Grounded integration in Parshvakonasana
Isometric shoulder work in elevated Puppy Pose
Oblique activation in Navasana
Rather than forcing the arm balance, we break it down clearly and explore playful transitions so lift becomes a natural result of alignment and engagement.
The practice closes with shoulder release and a soft, grounding Yin Matsyasana to calm the nervous system and integrate the work.
What you’ll build:
Stability, shoulder strength, core integration, and grounded confidence in arm balances.
Element focus: Earth — steady, strong, supportive.
This class is suitable for practitioners who enjoy building strength with structure and clarity, and who want to approach arm balances with intelligence rather than momentum.
