In this class, we honored the radiant, releasing energy of the full moon and the grounding earth element, cultivating stability, rootedness, and deep connection as we explored Tittibasana (Firefly Pose). Through Chandra Namaskar (Moon Salutation) and Bhumi Namaskar (Earth Salutation), we moved in harmony with lunar rhythms while drawing strength from the earth beneath us. Active leg flexibility took center stage through isometric strengthening exercises, building the hamstring and hip opening necessary for our peak pose. We flowed mindfully through grounding sequences that balanced the moon’s heightened energy with the earth’s steady embrace, incorporating core engagement and mindful transitions. This practice offered modifications for all levels, inviting students to root down deeply while exploring the interplay between release and strength, encouraging both physical stability and emotional balance during this powerful full moon phase.
