The different classes we offer:

G.A.P. Fitness

Legs, Bums and Tums! This fun class is perfect for those who want to start gaining strength and don’t know where to start. Specially created to complement acrobatic classes, the focus of the class is to condition the body in a way to avoid injuries. The class lasts one hour and various objects are often used to help carry out each exercise (blocks, elastics, gym trellis). Suitable for all levels, it is recommended especially for those who need more body awareness. This class is taught by Blanca. The capacity is normally 8 people, but it changes according to COVID restrictions. (Please note: free places and availability / hours may vary due to COVID 19 regulations. Walk-ins are not allowed. You have to reserve your place in advance).

Flexy

In this flexibility class, we begin with an effective warm-up to prepare the body for a good stretch. Different accessories are used; like the elastics, the feet-up and the aerial yoga stirrups, which help to get into a deeper and more satisfying stretch. Good flexibility aids in better range of motion and helps muscle strength to prevent injury. A class for all levels! This class is taught by Chely. The capacity is normally 8 people, but it changes according to COVID restrictions. (Please note: free places and availability / hours may vary due to COVID 19 regulations. Walk-ins are not allowed. You have to reserve your place in advance).

Yoga Alignment

This class is based on Iyengar yoga and Yin yoga teaching methods. This style of yoga is designed to offer the student a thorough understanding of the postures and to explore asanas on a deeper level. It emphasises correct alignment of all parts of the body within each yoga pose. This precision builds strength and stamina–balance and flexibility–and a new sense of self-exploration and well being. Alignment Yoga allows steady progress in the art and science of yoga and provides solid tools to make almost any yoga pose work for you. This class is taught by Sonia, a fantastic French-Austrian yoga teacher who is fabulous at correcting postures. The capacity is normally 8 people, but it changes according to COVID restrictions. (Please note: free places and availability / hours may vary due to COVID 19 regulations. Walk-ins are not allowed. You have to reserve your place in advance).

Warrior Yoga

Warrior Yoga is a dynamic and cardio based yoga that facilitates the elimination of toxins through breathing and challenging sequences. This style of yoga helps you to empower your inner warrior, to step out of your confort zone and to learn how to get rid of unnecessary fears. The mantra of Warrior yoga is “I Can”, allowing you to progress rather quickly in your physical and spiritual practice. This class is also taught by Sonia, an incredible yoga teacher with lots of patience. The capacity is normally 8 people, but it changes according to COVID restrictions. (Please note: free places and availability / hours may vary due to COVID 19 regulations. Walk-ins are not allowed. You have to reserve your place in advance).

Element Vinyasa Yoga

A dynamic class that connects one of the five elements with fluid movements (of the Krama Vinyasa style). The entire body is worked through the asanas (postures) placed in a sequence (flow). The fluid movement strengthens the muscles and improves flexibility while using breathing techniques to control and guide the mind, balancing mind and body. Each class starts with 5 minutes of meditation and ends with 5 minutes of relaxation. A class for all levels, however it is considered to be rather dynamic. Yoga beginners welcome! This class is taught by Marghertia, specialised in Krama Vinyasa. The capacity is normally 8 people, but it changes according to COVID restrictions. (Please note: free places and availability / hours may vary due to COVID 19 regulations. Walk-ins are not allowed. You have to reserve your place in advance).

Outdoor Yoga

If the weather allows, it is always more pleasant to enjoy an outdoors yoga class. As the Love Yoga Studio is located within the CDO (Club Deportivo de Ocio) of Puerto de la Cruz, we take advantage of the large tennis courts to do our class at sunset. The type of yoga is Element Vinyasa suitable for all levels. Do not worry if you have never done yoga before, remember that the point is to enjoy it! It is advisable to wear something to repel mosquitoes and bring a sweater to keep you warm in the final relaxation. If you have a mat you can bring it, and if not, we can lend you one. Normally we are on tennis court 1, but if you come 5 minutes in advance, you can help me carry the things outside. This class is taught by Margherita, specialised in Krama Vinyasa. (Please note: free places and availability / hours may vary due to COVID 19 regulations. No visits are allowed without prior appointment. You have to reserve your place in advance)
