Originally from France and now relocated in Tenerife, Sonia is a certified Iyengar, Vinyasa/Warrior Yoga and Restorative Yoga Teacher. She has been practicing Yoga for more than 18 years and has been teaching it in Paris (France) and now Tenerife for more than 6 years.

Her classes may encompass, in addition to Asanas (postures), cleansing or mind calming breathing techniques (Kriyas, Pranayama…), sacred chants (Mantras), meditation and energetic work (Mudras, Reiki, Massage). Sonia has a very intuitive and personal approach of teaching, by checking in with each student’s energy and by adapting her teaching to each student’s needs and body.

My name is Teresa Vegara, and I have been practicing yoga for the last 3 years. What better way to convey what I feel about yoga than by becoming an instructor. The first time I stepped onto a mat to teach a class, I knew immediately that I was on the right path and that there is nothing more rewarding than helping others feel better. I have always felt connected to the spiritual world and dealing with energies, as well as taking care of our physical body. After all, everything is connected. In my yoga classes, we will make that mind-body connection even more tangible, we will work through our breathing and meditation, to immerse ourselves inside, and connect with our spiritual and emotional body so often forgotten. The asanas that we will perform will help you integrate even more into this precious connection that should never be lost.
I hope to see you very soon
